Cyn, seek God's wisdom if you feel lost becos He control everything, so He will give the best answer. Why can't Charmaine continue with her 3f8? Isn't it something more 'natural' since it will attach to every single cancerous cell and then destroy them using her own immune system? Meanwhile, breathe and stay calm, i know its not easy becos you are the one facing it but you won't be able to think clearly if you panick. Remember seek God's wisdom! I will upkeep you n char n jase in my prayers..

Difficult decision. Why don't you ask Charmaine what she wants? She has been subjected to all kinds of treatments. Let her decide if she wants to try ICE. Let her will power play a part and fight. Let's leave it to God.

Here are the options. The information was provided by Dr. Bernie Siegel.

1.http://www.cancercenter.com/ Cancer Treatment Center of America

2.Sloan has an integrative medicine department that offers sources for alternative medicine; mainly for supportive care.

3.www.canhelp.com and more

You need to contact them for more information. Speak to the professionals, ask details. I knew a doctor at Sloan who used alternative approach to help children with cancer to sustain remission but he left the hospital years ago. Conventional medicine is still the main stream and all other approach is called supportive cancer therapies. Integrative medicine combines the best of both worlds; it is up to you where you want to seek the treatment for Char.

Focus on the well being of your daughter, not the disease. You may hear different stories of kids who recovered; there is never about one remedy that works but a combination of medicine, nutrition, support, mainly love that makes all the difference. God bless.

Agree with Mama Joan to seek God's wisdom when you feel lost. When I was pregnant with my 1st child and my blood test showed that I was high rish for down syndrome baby, I was asked if I wanted to do the placenta fluid test thing (forgot the medical name)..I was lost cos I heard of side effects and also was afraid to know the result. I left it to God and went with the flow of things after consulting docs and friends etc.. So whenever you feel lost, stay calm and quiet and seek God - you will be able to make the right decision. And whatever decision you make, it will always be the right one because you are her mother. :)
Don't blame yourself for not having done something or for having done something because every step we take has been planned for and has a reason. Example we learn something new in the course. God always sends us obstacles in our path to make us stronger and gain new knowledge. God has also blessed you with supportive friends like Jolene and gang so you know you are not alone mentally and physically. Thank God for them!! I will keep you and Char and Jase in prayer.
